Who Is the Author of Your Teen’s Story?

It’s time to pass the pen, parents. You’ve been writing your child’s story, but it’s time for your teen to tell their own tale. It’s all part of the process of letting go. But don’t be sad! This is a natural part of growing up, and it can help to mark the occasion and literally pass them a pen. Write a letter welcoming your teenager to adolescence and give them a physical pen so they understand how they are writing their own story now. And you get to enjoy seeing the world through their eyes.
