Go Tell Your Teen You Love Them

Stand up. Walk over to your teen. Tell them you love them, just because. That kind of love––the kind that is based on your child just being themselves and not doled out as a reward for a certain behaviour or particular success––provides security and gives your child the building blocks for creating healthy relationships in the future. Moreover, it teaches trust and let’s them know there is someone in their corner no matter what they do or say. Help them love themselves by telling your teen (over and over again!) that you love them.
