5 Ways To Help Teens With Grief

Keep teens company as they remember loved ones after they’re gone. Help your teen celebrate the person they lost by encouraging them to post pictures of their loved one online and ask friends and family to share their photos and remembrances, too. Put together a playlist of music they listened to together. Engrave a piece of jewelry with their loved one’s handwriting (a jeweler can help you out) so they can wear their name or a meaningful thought. Turn old t-shirts into blankets and create a meal out of their loved one’s favorite foods. All can help them feel close after someone is gone.
