5 Ways to Get Involved at School

There are plenty of ways to be involved in your teen’s education, even if you can’t get to their school during the day. For example, make sure you attend back-to-school night or other orientation events. Or set up a time to meet with key teachers so you can touch base about your teen and open the lines of communication. Attend parent-teacher conferences when they pop up, too. Attend games and concerts to get involved in school-wide events. Finally, join the PTA to help improve the school. There are ways to help out that fit every schedule.
