Same Room Screen Time

Who’s afraid of the big, bad screen? Mobile devices, computers, and televisions have become the modern day bogeyman, said to have the power to turn us into media-consuming zombies. And, sure, maybe that’s true if you don’t use screens mindfully, but plenty of families are using screens to bring them together rather than move them apart. Record important moments and then scroll through the photos and videos together. Play videos games together. Be on your screens in the same room together. The key word in case you missed it: together. It makes all the difference in taming the screen monster.
