How To Teach Teens Effective Time Management

Your teen must get together with their partner to complete a school project. Instead of asking, “Want to work on the project sometime next week?” get your teen to look at their schedule and suggest a time and date: “Want to work on the project on Tuesday at 3 pm, or is another time better?” Ta-da! That is time management, a vital skill that will help your teen feel time-rich instead of time-poor. By clearly stating availability, your teen will better understand what needs to get done and the best time to do it to get everything accomplished.
