How to Raise an Empathetic Teen

Teens have the potential to lead the world into taking a stand for civility, but they need support to be their best, empathetic selves. Highlight their strengths so they’re aware of their gifts, help them see the value in differences, underscore the importance of treating everyone with respect, and mentally prepare them for the possibility that they may witness bigotry and hate.
