Elyse Salek, MSEd is the Senior Manager of Center Operations at the CPTC. She brings over ten years of experience supporting the implementation of research and sponsored projects at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. For many years, Elyse worked as a Research Coordinator for the Clinical Research Support Office and a Research Project Manager for the Division of Adolescent Medicine. In this role she supported principal investigators to implement their research programs. She brings expertise in grant and regulatory submissions, protocol writing, and manuscript and report development. Elyse has worked closely with CPTC Co-Founder Dr. Ken Ginsburg since 2011 to support the development of strength-based interventions and programming that promotes the resilience and well-being of young people. Previously, Elyse was a Program Assistant at The National Center for Learning Disabilities, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with learning and attention issues. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Middlebury College and her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and Human Development from the University of Pennsylvania School of Education. Elyse lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia with her husband and two children.
